Daniel R. Warren
Daniel R. Warren is a lifelong resident of Scarborough, Maine. He is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, and the University of Maine Law School, Portland. Dan has been licensed to practice in both the state and federal courts of Maine since 1983. He is also licensed in the state of Massachusetts.Dan is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association; The American Bar Association; the Maine Bar Association; and the Cumberland County Bar Association. He was a member of the Maine Legislature from 1984 - 1988, and he served on the Scarborough town council from 1989-91. Dan is also a former reporter for the Associated Press, Indianapolis Star and the Portland Press Herald, and continues to write for different alumni, sports and legal publications. Dan's practice emphasizes litigation and corporation matters. He has achieved several substantial jury verdicts in civil litigation, and has represented both the injured plaintiff and defendants in such matters. Dan is frequently called upon by the ATLA members nationwide to handle civil collection notices where the debtor does business in the state of Maine. Dan handles cases on an hourly fee basis, and on a contingency basis. Dan's practice concentrates on physical injury law, legal and professional negligence claims, and insurance disputes. He has represented clients both in state and federal court, and before mediation and arbitration boards. Dan is married and lives with his wife Pamela Joy, and their three children, Maddie, Sophie and Sammy. He is active in a number of community organization in the greater Portland area.
